Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

This explains what information Pagekraft collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Pagekraft builds and looks after websites for trades, based in Liverpool. We are responsible for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at enquiry@pagekraft.co.uk.

What we collect

  • When you get started or send us a message: your name, business name, phone number, email address, trade, the areas you cover, your website or domain if you have one, the build and care plan you chose, your preferred call time, and anything you write to us.
  • When you use the free website check: the web address you enter, its score, and your name and phone number if you ask for the full report.
  • With every form: the IP address it was sent from, to help us stop spam and repeated sending, and the page it was sent from. Unless you’ve switched visit statistics off, also how your visit started and the first page you saw (see below).

How we use it

Only to reply to you, to arrange and hold your kick-off call, to prepare your price and, if you go ahead, to build and look after your website. We use it because you asked us to, and to take the steps needed before and during an agreement with you. We never sell it, never add you to a newsletter, and never pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Cookies, visit statistics and where enquiries come from

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing follows you to other websites. The only cookies are the ones WordPress sets for us when we log in to manage the site.

Visit counts. We count page views without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you: just the page and, where your browser shares it, the website you came from.

Where enquiries come from. To see which pages help people find us, your browser keeps a small note for this visit: how it started (for example a Google search, our Google Business Profile, or a link from another website) and the first page you saw. It’s kept in your browser tab, not in a cookie, it’s deleted when you close the tab, and it’s never shared. If you send us an enquiry, the note goes with it. We use it only to improve this website.

Switching it off. You can turn visit statistics off below. That stops both the visit count and the note for this browser, and we remember your choice in your browser so we can respect it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, they’re off automatically.

Who else handles it

  • Our web host stores this website and the messages sent through it.
  • Our email provider delivers our emails to you, including the copy of your choices.
  • When the free website check runs automatically, the web address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service to measure its speed. Nothing else about you is sent.
  • If you book your kick-off call through an online calendar, that booking is handled by the calendar provider under its own privacy policy.

Each of these only handles your information to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Website check results are deleted after seven days. If you get in touch but don’t become a client, we delete your details within 24 months. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as we work together and then for as long as the law requires for our accounts.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email enquiry@pagekraft.co.uk and we’ll reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
